Model Building

I'm able to build almost all radio controlled models, whether they are intended for play or display.

If you intend to buy an RC car or truck kit as a Christmas present but will not have the time to build it before or after the big day then I can help!

I also service and restore RC models.

I have over 15 years modelling experience and I have built numerous Tamiya kits and several radio controlled boats during this time.

Models I have built:

Tamiya Pajero, Blackfoot, Fighter Buggy, Mini Cooper, Ford Mondeo Touring Car and a Mad Bull.

I installed LED headlights, tail lights and a flashing orange beacon on the roof of the Pajero, which was set up to run off a separate 9v battery and painted in camouflage colours with simulated 'dirt' as shown below.

Boats I have built:

 A Graupner Fire Patrol Boat, a Model Slipway Fast Patrol Boat and a Kyosho Atlantio Cruiser.

I'm in the process of restoring an RC oil rig supply ship from the 60's

Converting a 1:32 scale combine harvester to run on full radio control

Build a full function RC amphibian with either 4x4, 6x6 or 8x8 drive like the one pictured below

I'm also in the process of designing my own range of radio controlled mini/micro hydraulic and pumping systems for use in large scale diggers and dumper trucks (1:10 scale)

I may hopefully also find time to design and build model tractor implements with working ploughs, power hoes & rollers etc
